  1. Yeah...I won't cut out meats, but I limit my intake.I'm far more concerned about foods processed or refined. I eat none of them.I even make my own condiments. Alot of people who go veggie eat ALOT of processed veggie products and refined sugars and grains; all are WAY more harmful to health than fresh (not processed)animal products. They also create inflammation, an athletes worste enemy! The problem with meat products is that they are very acidic, and disease only exists in acidic bodies.Refined products are also acidic, but to a lesser degree.Most meat eaters eat nothing but meat products and refined grains and sugars(hamburgers, for instance).That is a fast road to cancer! Vegetables are the key. So meat (in my opinion) isn't all bad; but it should be carefully moderated. Go ahead, and have a bit of bacon....it has health benifits(if you get bacon cured with no sugar; maple leaf carries a no salt no sugar brand), and it tastes great!
